We have a fantastic fixed-term opportunity for a Capital Business Partner to join our Capital Performance and Projects Team within Finance. Partnering with decision makers, this role will not only provide effective financial management, advice and guidance, it will act as a coach and mentor to stakeholders.
You will ensure your business teams have access to critical financial information, provide commercially insightful financial advice, and proactively educate and challenge business leaders to understand and utilise this for decision-making, financial stewardship, and performance measurement against business plans.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced financials expert to work within a complex and varied environment where you can see the tangible and overt outcomes within the community from your work. With exceptional technology to support your daily activities, you will spend more time in the business than behind your desk.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
As our successful Capital Business Partner, you have the perfect blend of Finance/Accounting and communication and engagement skills. Ideally, you will have a background in finance, business advisory, and/or accounting. You will also have:
A relevant tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or related discipline
The ability to have meaningful and insightful financial conversations with your stakeholders
Prior experience as a Finance Business Partner in an advisory capacity in a large organisation would be beneficial
Knowledge of planning, budgeting and forecasting
Due to the variety of stakeholders that you will interact with, it is essential that you have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. You will also be equipped with an incredible eye for detail and a natural ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
