Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Admission Counsellor to join our growing EdTech team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, persuasion, and problem-solving skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
Job Responsibilities:
• Counsel students/professionals regarding courses, career opportunities, and admission processes.
• Manage outbound calls, emails, and convert leads into successful admissions.
• Understand learners' requirements and recommend suitable programs.
• Provide complete information on courses, eligibility, admission process, and fee structure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and working professionals.
• Achieve monthly/quarterly admission targets.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions using CRM/Excel.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and academic teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
• Target-oriented with the ability to work under pressure
• Good organizational and follow-up skills
• Comfortable with phone/video counselling and presentations
• Basic knowledge of MS Office / CRM software
