Job Description
The Vision Group Limited is seeking to hire a Carpenter and Joiner in Auckland.
The position is responsible for the following:
Measure, cut, prepare and assemble timber and timber board products to make interior fittings such as timber doors, window frames, and stairs.
Guaranteed hours: 30 hours per week
Tasks Include, but not limited to:
Studying design plans and drawings to determine materials, dimensions and installation procedures
Built-in joinery fixing
Erecting wood panels and frames during installation and joinery fitting
Hardware installation
Selecting and matching materials for colour grain, or texture
Cutting, shaping and assembling wooden parts to construct frames for timber door, sliding door and stairs
Installing door and stairs in residential and commercial sites within Auckland
Examine blue prints or drawing and plans sequence of cutting or shaping operations to be performed
may repair existing fittings

Great Time management skills
Keen learner
Team worker
At least 2 years of relevant experience
Physical fitness
The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions
