Job Description – Foreman (Carpentry Work)

Location: Grant Road, Mumbai
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Foreman for Carpentry Work to oversee and coordinate woodwork activities at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will supervise carpentry crews, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain adherence to safety and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpentry workers on construction sites.
· Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements.
· Inspect work progress to ensure compliance with plans and standards.
· Ensure the correct use of materials, tools, and equipment.
· Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with company safety regulations.
· Plan and delegate daily work schedules and assign tasks to carpenters.
· Coordinate with site engineers and project managers regarding construction progress.
· Train and mentor junior workers when needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Minimum SSC / HSC qualification. ITI in Carpentry Trade preferred.
· Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in carpentry work within the construction industry.
· Experience in handling shuttering, formwork, and finish carpentry.
· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
· Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Salary:
₹22,000 – ₹32,000 per month (Based on experience and skill level)
