Job description, work day and responsibilities
Job Designation : ITI Carpenter (Modular Furniture)
- Interpret design plans and blueprints to understand furniture specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to design requirements.
- Assemble modular furniture components using woodworking tools such as saws, drills, and sanders.
- Install hardware components such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides.
- Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other team members to resolve any design or production issues.
- Maintain and repair woodworking machinery as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep track of inventory and report any shortages or defects in materials.
- Assist in the packaging and shipping of finished furniture pieces.
Job Specification :
Education & Experience:
- ITI certification in Carpentry
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Carpenter in modular furniture manufacturing.
- Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and design plans.
- Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery such as saws, drills, and sanders.
- Familiarity with different types of wood, plywood, laminates, and hardware used in furniture construction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions effectively.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
