About the Role
We are looking for driven and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) to join our dynamic team at MYCPE ONE. Whether you're a newly licensed CPA or a seasoned expert, we offer a platform to work with global clients, expand your expertise, and advance your career in US Accounting, Taxation, and Financial Advisory.
Key Responsibilities
For Freshers / Entry-Level CPAs:
• Tax Preparation: Assist in the preparation of US Individual (1040) and Business (1120, 1120S, 1065) tax returns.
• Accounting Support: Support accounting functions including general ledger, reconciliations, AP/AR, and payroll.
• Audit and Assurance: Participate in audit and assurance engagements under supervision.
• Tax Research: Conduct tax research and assist in planning strategies.
• Financial Reporting: Support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting tasks.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients for document collection and clarifications.
• Professional Development: Stay current with IRS updates, US GAAP, and other regulatory changes.
For Experienced CPAs:
• Tax Leadership: Lead tax compliance and planning for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Review and Sign-off: Review and sign off on tax returns and financial reports prepared by the team.
• Client Advisory: Advise clients on tax strategies, structuring, and regulatory compliance.
• Financial Closing: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• IRS Representation: Represent clients in IRS audits and respond to tax notices.
• Mentorship and Client Management: Guide and mentor junior team members and manage client relationships.
• Business Development: Contribute to business development and strategic advisory services.
Required Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Experience: 0–8+ years of relevant experience in US accounting, tax, or audit.
• Skills: Strong understanding of US GAAP, IRS tax codes, and accounting principles. Proficiency in software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Intuit ProConnect, Lacerte, Drake, or similar.
• Personal Qualities: Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
• US-Based Experience: Experience in working with US-based clients or CPA firms.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Exposure to financial statement preparation and tax projections.
• Multi-State Tax Compliance: Multi-state tax compliance and international taxation knowledge.
• Audit and Assurance Background: Background in audit, assurance, or financial advisory (for mid-to-senior roles).
