Responsibilities:
Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with established financial controls, policies, and procedures.
Performing statutory audits in accordance with the applicable accounting standards and legal requirements.
Preparing financial statements, reports, and analysis for management review.
Assisting in the development and implementation of effective internal control systems.
Conducting tax planning and compliance activities, including direct and indirect taxation.
Providing guidance and support to finance teams on complex accounting and taxation matters.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
Keeping up-to-date with relevant accounting and tax regulations and advising the management accordingly.
Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
Requirements:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge and understanding of internal audit, statutory audit, and taxation principles and practices.
Experience working in a manufacturing company will be highly advantageous.
Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to identify areas for process improvements.
Sound knowledge of relevant accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements
