We are looking for a Chartered Accountant to join our firm. This is an on-site role based in Chennai, Tamilnadu. Please apply only if you are willing to work in a full-time in-office role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyse, and interpret financial reports in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Audit and Compliance: Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Taxation: Manage tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Financial Analysis: Perform variance analysis and financial modelling to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes and controls to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Leaves – 12 Days per year excluding National Holidays
Working Hours – Monday to Friday; 10 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. including half an hour lunch break
