We've advised a wide range of Start-ups across Incorporation & Compliance, Accounting Services, Financial Advisory, Legal Advisory, Business Finance and Special Projects and believe that every Start-up is unique and hence, needs customized solutions.
Our client portfolio includes Blume Ventures, Purplle, Zopper, Slice to name a few of them.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an ASSOCIATE, Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience.
In this role you will work with various clients in advising on finance, taxation, due diligence, month closing and compliance related matters and implementing financial processes.
It is a consulting role and here, you will have the opportunity to work with VC Funds on investment transaction advisory and Startups in managing their finance function.
Investment Transaction Advisory:
• Independently conduct Financial Due Diligence for potential investment rounds and support through investment transactions.
• Prepare Due Diligence reports in specific formats.
• Preparing valuation reports and forecasts for evaluating enterprise value as per Income Tax, Company Law and FEMA.
Financial and Tax Advisory:
• Review of month closure process and advise the team. Review of Financials on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Prepare and present investor reporting and operating MIS and Cash flow statements on a timely manner.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the financial budget/ forecasts and report variances.
REQUIREMENTS
• CA Qualification with PQE of 2-3 years.
• Working knowledge of compliances – GST, TDS, PF, Payroll and other typical compliances applicable to privately held companies.
• Working knowledge on accounts payable and receivable process for tech/tech-enabled companies.
• Knowledge of Internal Control Process and Implemented accounting/finance processes
• Accounting, Statutory Audit and Taxation support for various clients. Working knowledge of monthly / Quarterly tax compliance.
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and consultative approach while advising the startups in bringing finance prudence.
• Possess strong analytic, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
