Job Description:
1. ••Income Tax Returns:••
- Assist in the preparation and filing of individual, corporate, and other income tax returns.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with all tax regulations.
- Respond to tax inquiries and notices from tax authorities.
2. ••Income Tax Audit Reports:••
- Prepare and assist in the filing of income tax audit reports.
- Collaborate with senior accountants to gather and organize necessary documentation.
- Ensure timely submission of audit reports in compliance with statutory deadlines.
3. ••TDS-TCS Returns:••
- Prepare and file TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and TCS (Tax Collected at Source) returns.
- Reconcile TDS/TCS statements and ensure proper credit to the clients’ accounts.
- Handle any discrepancies or issues related to TDS/TCS filings.
4. ••Other Income Tax Compliances:••
- Stay updated with the latest income tax laws, rules, and regulations.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation for all tax-related activities.
- Support the senior accounting team with other tax compliance tasks as required.
••Required Knowledge and Skills:••
- Basic understanding of income tax laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with the filing of income tax returns and audit reports.
- Knowledge of TDS-TCS returns and related compliances.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tax filing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
••Qualifications:••
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Prior experience or internships in a similar role will be an advantage.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CPA) will be a plus but not mandatory.
