Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with senior management. Monitor financial performance against budgeted targets and provide regular reports and analysis.
• Tax Compliance: Manage tax planning and compliance activities, including filing of income tax returns, GST/VAT returns, and other statutory filings. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Audit Management: Coordinate external audits and ensure timely completion of audit processes. Address audit queries and implement recommendations for improvement.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records. Conduct periodic internal audits to identify and mitigate risks.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, such as investment evaluations, cost-benefit analysis, and profitability analysis. Provide recommendations based on financial insights.
• Cash Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity requirements to ensure adequate funding for operational needs and investment opportunities. Monitor banking activities and optimize cash balances.
• Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and other relevant laws. Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required.
• Advisory and Consultation: Provide financial guidance and support to management on business initiatives, investment decisions, and risk management strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
• years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
