About the Role

Our People team is expanding and we’re looking for a Chartered Accountant (CA) Program Manager to join our vast community of solvers. The Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting, known as the CA Program, is one of the firm’s core qualifications for new graduates.

The Chartered Accountants (CA) Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the CA qualification program, ensuring its alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements for the PwC Australia firm. This role involves coordinating with CAANZ and internal stakeholders to facilitate the successful delivery and continuous improvement of the CA qualification process. The Program Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting candidates through their qualification journey and ensuring that the program meets the evolving needs of the accounting profession.

You’ll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:

Demonstrating extensive experience in program management, ideally leading the CA program in a BIG4 previously or equivalent
Understanding of the CA qualification process and the accounting profession.
Providing excellent organisational and project management skills.
Demonstrating strong written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Managing multiple priorities and working within a dynamic environment.
Demonstrating strong attention to detail & processes and ability to optimise process and look for technology to assist in
Acting a team player who thinks and acts in alignment with our values
Demonstrating agility to deal and navigate through ambiguity at times
Solving problems and taking ownership of the solution
In our People team, your impact will be seen by:

Program Management: Managing the CA qualification program, ensuring that the program is managed effectively, meeting all regulatory and educational standards – this includes budget, contract management and RTE application.
Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborating with CAANZ & internal stakeholders (including senior people & SME’s within the firm, People & Culture Business Partners & Finance) to maintain the relevance, policy and quality of the CA program.
Candidate & Mentor Support: Providing guidance and support to CA candidates & their mentors throughout their qualification process. Address any queries and assist candidates & mentors in overcoming challenges.
Quality Assurance: Establishing and maintaining rigorous quality assurance processes. Monitor program performance and implement improvements as needed.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that the CA program complies with all relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Performance Tracking: Tracking metrics to assess the success of the program. Report on program outcomes & results to senior management and other key stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for innovation and enhancement of the CA program. Implement best practices to improve program delivery and outcomes.

Providing other adhoc tasks as required by the Learning Operations Senior Manager
