The Chief Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions within the organization, with a focus on ensuring compliance in various areas such as GST, Income Tax, TDS/TCS, Imports and Exports, and other government regulations. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health and integrity of the company.
• Responsibilities:
1. Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS/TCS, Imports and Exports, and other governmental regulations.
2. Oversee all accounting activities, including but not limited to, accounts payable/receivable, ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
3. Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial statements.
4. Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary information for the annual audit.
5. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
6. Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
7. Stay updated with industry trends and changes in financial regulations.
• Requirements:
1. Must be a Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
3. Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
