Position: Chief Accounting Officer
Qualification: B.Com, CA
Experience: 20 to 30 years
Location: Mumbai
Job description
Roles and Responsibilities:-
Planning and executing monthly/ quarterly/ annual closure schedules; providing monthly financial statements; administering the monthly closing process Monitoring & ensuring reclassification and accounting of wrong or unaccounted entries prior to closure of the General Ledger
Preparing and explaining weekly profit & loss projections; establishing product line profit & loss statements to identify opportunities and risks Administering Legal Assignments of company, Banks Limits, Guaranty, Companies Tax and Accounts Assessment Enforcing compliances for GST, TDS, Service Tax, VAT, and others; creating month-end provisions for expenses.
Working with the Finance Controller in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and strategic plans.
Drafting & presenting weekly and monthly management reports on cost & benefit analysis, productivity analysis, inventory turnover analysis and cost variance analysis.
Reviewing financial results; undertaking year-on-year and quarterly comparison of company performance both in terms of the top-line and bottom-line Ensuring compliance with applicable policies, contracts & regulations.
Monitoring each payment receipt from the customer and mapping against the actual receivables lying in the books, issuance of credit note for deductions such as IGST TDS, Late Delivery (LD), Sales Returned & other related matters.
Coordinating between customers, salesperson and Accounts Department Supervising customized online portal of customers
Conducting internal audit of Accounts Receivable, statutory audit of Sundry Debtors and providing the data for auditors as per their requirements Developing various for management review report (MRM) on ad hoc basic.
Desired Candidate Profile
Chartered Accountant Only preferred
Experience around 20+ years in Accounts & Finance Department
Pharma Industry experience can be added advantage or any Manufacturing setup experience can be preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with Leadership quality.
