Site Supervisor (Working Foreman)
SUMMARY
The Site Supervisor (Working Foreman) at Action Scaffold is responsible for supervising installation crews, ensuring strong team cohesion, and overseeing the efficient execution of construction sites.
This role also supports the Site Coordinator, crew leaders, Engineering Department, and Health & Safety Department to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to client satisfaction.

Mandatory certifications:
First Aid
Working at Heights
Safety in 5 Steps
IHSA Supervisor Training Certificate
Must be a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters
Red Seal Certification (preferred, not mandatory)
Knowledge of construction collective agreements (decree)
5 to 10 years of experience in scaffolding construction (asset)
Strong ability to learn and use software (Gesteplus, Microsoft Office Suite)

PLANNING, COORDINATION & ORGANIZATION
Analyze project schedules and prioritize site supervision based on needs
Support the Site Coordinator in workforce assignments to optimize team efficiency
Ensure crews have all required tools to perform their work (in collaboration with the coordinator and warehouse team)
Ensure all required safety equipment is available and compliant (in collaboration with the H&S department and warehouse)
Coordinate required equipment for projects (e.g., capstan, ropes, tools, specialized PPE)
Ensure availability of motorized equipment for site operations (e.g., Skytrack, aerial lifts, boom trucks) in collaboration with technical representatives and project coordination
SUPERVISION & SUPPORT
Supervise assigned projects and crews
Lead daily job start-ups based on priorities
Ensure work methods are efficient and compliant with company safety standards
Support crew leaders in resolving challenges and answering questions
Assist technical representatives in selecting optimal work methods
Participate in site visits with sales representatives to support estimating and proposals
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & FOLLOW-UP
Produce site reports following interventions
Ensure all tasks meet safety standards and client expectations
Share field feedback with teams to improve operations and better meet crew and client needs
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a working foreman position (hands-on role on site)
Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
Company truck and phone are provided
