Job Title: Content Writer
Department: Intuitive Operations and Automation
Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative content writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of natural language writing and information retrieval. They will be responsible for writing original summaries for a variety of restaurants / hotels and similar points of interest (POIs), extracting attributes from reviews, editing and proofreading content, evaluating content and categorizing them into different error buckets, and rephrasing user reviews as they might be in natural language. The content writer will also work with other members of the team to develop and improve our POI extraction and summarization models.
Responsibilities:
● Write original summaries for a variety of POIs that will be used to train models
● Extract attributes from reviews and categorize them
● Edit and proofread content for accuracy and clarity
● Evaluate content & categorize them into different error buckets (grammar vs factuality)
● Rephrase user reviews as they might be in natural language. Changing to direct/indirect review, adding Prefix, review for grammar

● Strong writing skills: A content writer should be able to write clear, concise, and engaging content that is free of errors in grammar and spelling. They should also be able to write in a variety of styles, depending on the target audience and the purpose of the content.
● Passion for content: A content writer must be passionate about content and have a desire to make it the best it can be. They must be excited about the editing process and be willing to put in the time and effort to produce high-quality content.
● Research skills: A content writer should be able to conduct thorough research on a variety of pages related to the POI being evaluated. This includes being able to identify credible sources of information, evaluate the quality of information, and summarize complex information in a clear and concise way for each POI evaluated.
● Adaptability: A content writer should be able to adapt their writing style to different audiences and purposes. They should also be able to meet deadlines and work independently.
● Time management skills: A content writer should be able to manage their time effectively and meet deadlines. They should also be able to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
● Collaboration skills: A content writer may need to collaborate with other writers, editors, and designers. They should be able to work well with others and share ideas.
● Communication skills: A content writer should be able to communicate effectively with clients, editors, and other stakeholders. They should be able to clearly articulate their ideas and answer questions in a concise and informative way.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in English, linguistics, or a related field
● 0-3 years of experience in content writing or related fields such as journalism, blogging, local reviewers among others
● Excellent writing and editing skills
● Attention to detail and accuracy
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Preferred: Understanding of ML models and natural language processing
