Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
• Conducting market research to identify potential markets, customer segments, and industry trends.
• Analyzing competitors and understanding their market positioning.
Developing Sales Strategies:
• Creating and implementing sales strategies to target international markets.
• Identifying key sales channels and distribution networks.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with international clients and partners.
• Addressing client inquiries, and concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Generating leads through various methods, including networking, cold calling, and online research.
Product and Service Promotion:
• Creating marketing materials and campaigns to promote products or services on international markets.
• Developing strategies to differentiate the company's offerings from competitors.
International Market Entry Strategies:
• Assessing market entry options such as export, joint ventures, partnerships, or establishing subsidiaries.
• Formulating market entry plans in coordination with other departments.
Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
• Conducting sales presentations to potential clients or partners.
• Negotiating terms, contracts, and agreements with international stakeholders.
Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, export/import laws, and customs requirements.
• Handling necessary documentation for international transactions.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
• Generating reports on sales performance, market trends, and revenue projections.
• Analyzing data to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborating with other departments such as production, logistics, finance, and legal to ensure smooth international operations.
• Providing input for product development based on international market demands.
Adaptability and Cultural Awareness:
• Adapting to diverse cultural environments and understanding cultural nuances in business interactions.
• Recognizing and respecting business practices and customs of different regions.
Goal Attainment and Performance Metrics:

Qualifications
• Export, International Business, and International Trade skills
• Excellent sales and business planning skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of import and export laws and regulations
• Proven track record of successful exports and new business development
• Any Bachelor's / Master's degree
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience working in the packed foods, FMCG, food industry and D2C startups is a plus
• Fluent in English
