About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring effective cost control, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee pre- and post-contract administration, including tender evaluations and subcontractor agreements.
Prepare and manage all contract documents, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Support the preparation of final certificates, warranties, and retention releases.
Manage cost control processes for subcontractors, suppliers, and direct/indirect labor.
Prepare cost reports in line with company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with the Accounts Department to resolve any financial discrepancies.
Ensure subcontractors provide safety plans, method statements, and comply with the project's safety plan.
Promote a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness.
Maintain OHS documentation and ensure it is accessible for inspections and audits.
Implement and maintain the project's Quality Plan, ensuring contract documents meet the company's QA standards.
Participate in internal QA audits and assist in the corrective actions for any non-conformances.
Control and organise all contract and subcontract documentation.
Assist in the preparation of monthly project reports, including cost reports and completed project reports.
Work closely with the Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Site Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, ensuring all contract-related matters are addressed.
