Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of the accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, as well as providing expert advice to clients on financial matters.
Your primary responsibilities will include preparing annual and periodic financial statements, conducting audits and reviews, and developing and implementing financial strategies to improve client performance.
You will have a strong background in accounting principles, including IFRS and ISAS, and excellent technical skills, including experience with Xero and other accounting software. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in an accounting or auditing role, preferably at a CPA or CA firm. They will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines, and be able to manage competing priorities with ease.
In addition to their technical skills and experience, the successful candidate will possess excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and prioritize tasks effectively.
They will also have a strong understanding of New Zealand tax, payroll, and relevant laws, and be familiar with corporate finance and business valuations.
