Position Summary: The Excel Events division is looking for an Events Coordinator. This position will be responsible for assisting with planning, logistics, and execution for LPGA, amateur and celebrity golf events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist tournament event staff with day-to-day responsibilities, administrative tasks, and operational logistics.
Support the management, upload, and tracking of client deliverables across internal systems.
Maintain internal tracking tools and core on-site documents including rooming lists, confirmation sheets, transportation manifests, F&B schedules, and related materials.
Support sponsorship fulfillment efforts, including maintaining sales materials, building presentations, and updating existing collateral as needed.
Assist in fostering strong sponsor relationships by ensuring timely, accurate delivery of contracted benefits and exceptional service throughout the event lifecycle.
Contribute ideas to enhance hospitality offerings, fan engagement experiences, and new sponsorship categories.
Aid in client ticketing and credential fulfillment processes.
Coordinate and orchestrate amenities, communications, and logistics for talent, players and caddies at events, including food & beverage, lodging, courtesy cars, childcare, credentials, and registration.
Assist with ongoing player and talent communication (Fact Sheets, itineraries, general inquiries, etc.).
Lead community outreach efforts and grassroots marketing initiatives to bolster tournament visibility and support local engagement.
Assist with planning and execution of tournament special events, such as Women's Leadership Summits, junior clinics, clinics, and player appearances.
Provide support with budget management including building, updating, and reconciling event budgets.
Prepare materials such as event briefs, recaps, itineraries, and staff plans for internal and external use.
Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator to support volunteer program activities, including application development, registration processes, training sessions, uniform distribution, catering needs, communication, and overall program administration.
Travel to designated tournaments and events to support ticketing, transportation, housing, special event operations, hospitality, and additional assigned areas.
Execute special projects or other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree required;
1-2 years of experience in Golf Management and/or Event Coordination preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
A passion for the game of golf and event planning is ideal
Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong initiative and ability to manage priorities, deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy
Strong knowledge of PC-based word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail applications, etc. (Microsoft family)
Understanding and interest in the sports sponsorship landscape, key industry players, market values and activation concepts
Ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion regarding interpersonal relationships.
The pay range for this position is: $67,500- $70,000 per year. This position is also eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.

Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
