Job Summary:
Corporate Accountant must work closely with the Property Managers teams to ensure that the accounting responsibilities will be handled accurately and within the given time frame. He/she will be closely working with controller and will be responsible for managing day-to-day tasks and helping the controller as and when needed.
Job Description:
• The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for corporate entities.
• He/she must ensure the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Responsible to maintain the general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and overseeing intercompany transactions.
• The role also involves assisting in the development of corporate budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances between actuals and budgeted figures, and providing strategic insights and recommendations.
• Corporate Accountant will monitor corporate cash flow, perform bank reconciliations, manage liquidity and support treasury operations.
• Also, it includes debt servicing, loan compliance and banking relationships.
Required Education and Experience:
• Must have CPA/CA/MBA degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
• 6+ years of total experience in RTR, GL profile. Strong accounting knowledge.
• 2+ years of experience as property accountant, preferably in the real estate or property management sector.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of real estate accounting principles and regulations is advantageous.
