Responsibilities
• Lead the month-end close process for management and affiliated corporate entities, ensuring accurate journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger's accuracy and deliver timely financial reporting for corporate entities.
• Oversee corporate credit card activity, including allocation, reconciliation, and preparation of reimbursements and intercompany allocations.
• Assist in cash management activities, including the establishment and maintenance of bank accounts for corporate and investment entities.
• Support audits, tax preparation, and respond to ad hoc financial reporting requests.
• Perform basic Yardi system administration, including user setup and chart of accounts maintenance.
• Collaborate with fund accounting, asset management, and operations teams to ensure compliance with expense classification and firm policies.
Qualifications
• Must-Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, private equity, investment management, or professional services.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Experience with accounts payable in a multi-entity environment.
• Familiarity with Yardi is required or strongly preferred.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Nice-to-Have:
• Experience supporting management companies within private equity or real estate investment firms.
• Exposure to intercompany accounting and expense allocations.
• Experience working in a lean or high-growth environment.
