Responsibilities:
• Calculate product costs, including raw materials, labor, and overheads, for each unit manufactured.
• Maintain and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) with accurate and detailed information.
• Perform pricing analysis to evaluate proposed prices independently of cost and profit.
• Conduct marginal analysis to assess the costs and benefits of specific business activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate valuation methods are applied.
• Prepare cost reports, budget forecasts, and variance analyses.
Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes related to cost accounting.
Requirements:
• Fresh CMA/ICWAI qualification.
• Strong knowledge of product costing principles and techniques.
• Familiarity with the Bill of Materials (BOM) and its management.
• Ability to perform pricing and marginal analysis.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and standards.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
