Job Brief
We are currently hiring a Cost Accountant who will be responsible for establishing product manufacturing costs, valuation of Inventory and preparation of budget and forecasts.
Job Responsibilities
Product costing, standard cost updates, analysis on cost variance and preparation of costing reports Handling inventory accounting, reporting and reconciliations
Month-end closing activities and ensuring financial accounting related to revenue and costing is completed in a timely and accurate manner
Analyzing reports and tools that identify cost exceptions and working with cross-function teams to predict and improve cost of production
Analyzing costs
Designing and implementing cost accounting systems
Tracking budgeting and costs
Reviewing costs for inaccuracies
Preparing budget reports
Costs analysis for new product
Recommending cost-effective solutions, explore the optimum utilization of resources
Key Requirements
Qualified Accountant (B. Com. with CWA, CWA Intermediate or CWA Persuing)
Should have prior experience in handling the full spectrum of accounting functions which include Costing Accounting, Full Set, Budget & Forecasting and Reporting.
Should well versed in the MSOffice suite. Knowledge of (Flexi Pack ERP and Tally Prime or similar accounting software is a plus.
Should a strong team player, organized and possess a high attention to detail
Should have excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and skills).
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Cost Accountant
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Strong mathematical skills
Excellent analytical skills
