O'Brien Electrical & Plumbing Rowville is seeking candidates for a Customer Relations role. We are looking to fill this entry-level position by bringing on a fresh staff member whom we can train and develop into an experienced, competent office administrator.


O'Brien Electrical & Plumbing Rowville is a proud family of quality-focused trade service professionals in the electrical industry.


The position is varied, so you will never be bored, yet clearly defined so you will know your responsibilities and be able to manage your time accordingly.


PRIMARY PURPOSE

Assist in bringing in more business by communicating with new and existing customers

Efficient management of inbound calls and outbound customer surveys and debt collection

Be the glue between operational performance and marketing through customer service follow-up activity.


GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS

Respond to all inbound calls and inquiries for jobs.

Support improving stock accuracy and warranties

Support employee engagement program i.e. toolbox meeting agendas/actions, keep whiteboard current

Chase overdue debtors

Follow up sent quotes

Ask for any opportunities for existing customers

appointment set for new clients, service/ solar/ construction

Online marketing Linked in, Social media

Customer segmenting for email outs

Customer follow up calls/ surveys

Calls regarding tenders

Assisting in tenders

Assist with marketing

Existing Customer relations mining

BNI meetings

Trade shows

Ensure maximum office discretion and confidentiality at all times


KEY CONTACTS

Internal with all O’Brien Rowville people in relation to all operations, office and admin functions, etc.

External with all the customers in relation to all job inquiries, then Debtors and Creditors in relation to payments


KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Requires sound operations and administrative ability

High level of computer literacy especially with computerized job management systems eg Simpro, MS Office particularly Excel

Relevant qualifications ie Operations, Sales, and Administration preferred but not essential

A strong and professional work ethic.

A professional and friendly approach.

A proactive attitude.

Debtors are kept up to date

Jobe coming in from the referral channel

Jobs coming in from social media
