FinXL is looking to engage a Data Analyst with Investment experience for one of our high-profile clients in the Financial services industry.
Key skills and experience include:
Develop,
Minimum 1- or 2-years' experience in investment management / asset owner with investment operations capability.
Must have Calypso experience
Good understanding of financial markets and financial instruments across multiple asset classes.
Knowledge of data management functions and usage of investment data in its various forms.
Sound understanding of the nuances between the investment (IBOR) and accounting (ABOR) books of record and how these might be applied in an Asset Management and Asset Owner context.
Strong knowledge of financial data providers/source qualities. Skilled in navigating market data platforms for data sampling and review
Highly proficient investigation & data analytical skills with the ability to effectively articulate and present outcomes of investigation and corresponding solutions..
A willingness to be hands on and undertakes operational activity.
Experience in Bloomberg, Refinitiv and Aladdin highly desirable.
Experience in data tools such as Python, particularly API related packages, and SQL. Desirable.
