Job Description
The role of Manager-Accounting will oversee monthly book closing as per the laws. This role will be based out of Jaipur, Rajasthan and will report to Director-Finance.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monthly closing of book of accounts
- Reporting to external stakeholders, day to day book accounting;
- Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
- Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards
- Audits accounts to ensure compliance with regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
- Drives automation and optimization required to adhere to reporting standards
- Adheres to overall process timelines for delivery while ensuring all sub- processes meet execution standards
- Anticipates and solves for problems and blockers before they arise
- Understands interrelationships of metrics and predicts how they will behave in different scenarios.
- Drives analytical output by guiding and coordinating with analysts.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven work experience in a similar role for 4-7 years
- Professional qualification - CA
- Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and finalisation of books
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Good communication skills
- Experience in Ecommerce/Retail Industry is preferred
- Experience using financial software (SAP, TALLY, ERP
