About The Key Roles And Responsibilities
The Deputy Manager in Finance and Accounts, play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliation, and monthly closure of books. This role also involves contributing to the compilation of monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports.
• Prepare financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor budget performance and provide insights to management on financial implications of operational decisions.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.
• Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Review and validate allocated function in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit process and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Assist in contract agreement formulation by validating clauses before finalization.
• Coordinate with Points of Contact (POCs) to resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Supervise and mentor finance team members, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional growth and performance excellence.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to achieve financial objectives and resolve financial issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and vendors.
• Day to day fund management within inter companies and outside the Group.

Skills:
• Advanced understanding of accounting principles and experience of finalisation of books/Consolidation

• Strong communication skills
Experience
• 2-4 years of experience in Finance and Accounts department.
