Our client, a $30B leading US Health care provider is looking for a Finance Shared Services Leader with a domain expertise of accounting to build and lead their Shared Services team supporting Finance & Accounting operations. This role will play a key role in transitioning, transforming processes and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of the deliverables. This role requires an experienced accounting professional who is highly motivated and has a proven track record of building and leading successful global finance operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute as a key member of the core team responsible for developing and executing transition plan for Record-to-Report processes covering month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, audit support, etc.
• Build and lead a high performing team of accounting professionals; provide technical guidance, mentorship and coaching.
• Provide strategic planning, direction and oversight of daily accounting operations and ensuring adherence to quality and SLAs.
• Develop and monitor key performance metrics to ensure service levels are met or exceeded; set up and lead governance in terms of tracking and reporting status and progress to key stakeholders.
• Drive transformation initiatives leveraging technology and automation to streamline processes and eliminate manual efforts.
• Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new tools, systems, and processes.
• Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to transform processes that have the greatest impact and deliver value in accordance to the business goals.
Qualifications:
• 12+ years of experience in Finance Shared Services or a similar function in a multinational environment with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership capability.
• Chartered Accountant
• F&A Experience
• Record to report experience is a plus
• Excellent people management skills with a track record of building and developing high performing teams.
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across different levels of the organization
