Job Summary:

Position: Associate Director/ Director- Finance & Accounting The Director of Finance & Accounts is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations within the organization. This position requires a thorough understanding of financial management, budgeting, accounting principles, and regulations. The Director of Finance & Accounts will work closely with senior management to develop financial strategies and provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
This challenging role is an opportunity for a motivated seasoned accountant whose primary responsibilities will be to support Accounting Policy functions, day to day accounting activities, moth end and year end close process, Intercompany accounting transactions.
Responsible for Managing general accounting functions and/or Accounting policy functions.
Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month end and year end reports are completed accurately and on time.
Ensuring that all accounting process align with GAAP and current financial legislation
Prepare and publish timely and accurate financial statements including - Income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
Review the Journals entered by the teams - AP, GL of respective regions
Responsible for month end and year end close process
Responsible for intercompany transaction-accounting, compliance and assisting the audit of respective regions.
Support the finance team in continuous improvement and innovation. Include design, testing and rollout of financial reporting systems / tools/ processes.
Develop and document business process and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Liaise with external auditors to complete timely financial audits.
Revenue account reconciliations SOX audit exposure Key skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in team management
Solid knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP.
Exceptional written and spoken English skills Good to Have skills
CA, CPA, CMA or master's degree in accounting required
B1 Visa Qualifications
Should have 14+ Yrs of relevant experience.
Fluent written and spoken English skills, able to use English to communicate with worldwide peers
