Job Title: Part-Time Permanent Disability Support Worker – Meaningful and Flexible Role

We are currently recruiting experienced and caring Part-Time Permanent Disability Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in participants' homes and the wider community. This role is ideal for someone looking for consistent hours and long-term employment while contributing positively to people’s lives.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting participants with daily living tasks, personal care, and community participation. You will work under an individualized care plan and within a collaborative team environment to help clients maintain independence and achieve their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver personal care including showering, toileting, dressing, and grooming
Assist with household duties such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
Support participants in accessing the community (appointments, shopping, social and recreational activities)
Promote independence and individual choice in daily activities
Work regular part-time hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends as per a set roster
Maintain accurate and timely documentation and follow NDIS requirements

Selection Criteria
Minimum 1 year of experience in disability, aged care, or community health (essential)
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, Aged Care or equivalent
Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
National Police Check (within 12 months)
Valid Working with Children Check (if applicable)
Current driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
COVID-19 vaccination (as per health regulations)
