Job Description
You'll belong to a dynamic team of finance professionals that acts as the India legal entity controllership function for Macquarie's entities in Gurugram. The team has ownership of month end accounting, reporting and related financial controls, management reporting, revenue management, treasury, statutory compliances, managing statutory and internal audit so this opportunity offers plenty of opportunities for learning in a fast-paced environment.
As an Executive in this team, you'll have a wide range of responsibilities such as managing the intercompany invoicing on cost plus mark-up model, following up for intercompany agreements and settlements, performing reconciliation of inter co debtors and provide support in month end accounting. You'll also prepare and update process documentation and ensure it is kept up to date at all times and provide support during statutory and internal audits.
Further down the line this role also offers scope to grow into a full-fledged LEC role, offering opportunity to manage all aspects of accounting and compliances for the entity.
To be successful in this role, you'll have had previous exposure to financial accounting and reporting in an IT/ITES industry and come with a good knowledge of revenue and receivables management. You'll also have a professional accounting qualification along with 4-6 years of working experience. You'll have excellent MS-Excel skills and good working knowledge oracle and reporting tools. You'll also be willing to work on flexible time basis. Working knowledge of compliance requirements relating to India such as WHT, GST, EOU/STPI will be an added advantage.
