Job Description
Ensure accurate recording of Inventory related financial transactions in compliance with related accounting controls, and prepare information and reports for North American Internal/External manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities require functional expertise in finance and accounting, strong customer relationship, Analytical s and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
80% of Time Service Delivery: -
· 3PL Bills of Materials setup & Maintenance
· Timely Completion of BOM Changes & Audit to eliminate inventory volatility
· BOM Audits (Annual Task)
· Auto Pay rates in SAP
· Costings preparation for Sourcing, Logistics & manufacturing
· Standard Costing Audit
· Setup Vendor Toll rate in SAP
· 100% Audit of BOM changes
· Consistent attention to detail and accuracy
· Support business continuity to meet critical business objective
· Work independently / directly with external and internal plants to ensure accurate and timely
Resolution
· Consistently Meet / Exceed SLA Guidelines
· As per business requirement need to ensure to complete task by login from home after business
hours as well as support on Saturday/Sunday during contract end period/spring plan
· Need to prioritize all urgent request to ensure they are completed on time
10% of Time Service Excellence: -
Identify and implement process improvement ideas
· Leverage CI tools or mindset to identify recurring issues and work towards Institutional Solution.
· Collaboration within and across team for Service Excellence.
10% of Time Other -
• Ensure clear process documentation is in place, utilized and updated in timely manner
• Support audit and control to ensure compliance with GMI and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Develop strong relationships with business partners including other Mumbai support teams and Minneapolis headquarter teams
• Actively participate in team or site events/initiatives
Desired Profile
Education
Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors
Preferred Degree Requirements: Bachelors
Preferred Major Area of Study: Finance & Accountancy
Experience
Minimum years of related experience required: 2+ years of relevant experience in business, accounting
Preferred years of related experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in business, accounting
Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed
• Experience in Cost Accounting preferred
• Familiarity with SAP system functionality preferred
• Experience dealing with U.S. personnel over phone preferred
• Advanced MS Office computer skills preferred (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
