We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team at Sikich India.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in Indian accounting and possess expertise in overseeing and managing daily accounting functions within an office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports to ensure compliance with Indian financial regulations.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST, Companies Act 2013, Income Tax, Provident Fund (PF), Professional Tax (PT), Gratuity Act, and other statutory requirements.
• Bookkeeping and Record-Keeping: Manage daily bookkeeping, review bills, and critically examine them before processing payment.
• Audit Support: Assist external audit & accounting firms by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Inventory Management: Reconcile inventory records and other ledgers regularly.
Requirements:
• B. Com/M. Com/Inter CA (Drop out) with relevant experience.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience of working with a multinational company would be an added advantage.
• Work Ethic: Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Attention to Detail: Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho) and MS Excel.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, and other allied laws.
