Fashion Design Intern – MeghMalhaar Location: Ahmedabad Type: Internship (Full-time / Part-time) Duration: 3 to 6 months Stipend: Based on experience About MeghMalhaar MeghMalhaar is a homegrown Indian ethnic wear label that celebrates the richness of heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary elegance. From bespoke bridal lehengas to handwoven dupattas, every piece is rooted in tradition and made with soul. Role Overview We are looking for a passionate and creative Fashion Design Intern who is eager to learn, assist in the design process, and bring fresh ideas to the studio. If you're someone who is inspired by Indian textiles, colors, embroidery, and storytelling through fashion, we’d love to work with you. Key Responsibilities - Assist in developing seasonal collections from concept to creation - Research traditional textiles, embroideries, silhouettes, and trends - Support in fabric sourcing, swatch documentation, and sampling - Create technical sketches, mood boards, and illustrations - Collaborate with artisans, tailors, and the design team for sampling - Help organize fittings, photoshoots, and exhibitions - Maintain design records, sample tags, and studio inventory Requirements - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design - A strong sense of Indian aesthetics and love for ethnic wear - Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or hand sketching - Good communication skills and an eye for detail - Enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to work in a fast-paced creative studio Perks - First-hand experience in the luxury Indian fashion space - Certificate of Internship - Opportunity to work closely with the core design team - Insight into bridalwear, styling, and client consultations To Apply: Send your resume and portfolio (if any) to with the subject line: Fashion Design Intern – MeghMalhaar
