Fashion Design Internship

As an intern at LetsDressUp, you will be involved in various aspects of the fashion design process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting in the conceptualization and development of new fashion collections. This will involve conducting trend, fabric, and technique research to inspire design direction.

You will be responsible for creating sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards to effectively communicate design ideas. Collaborating with senior designers to align concepts with brand aesthetics and target market will also be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will assist in material and trim sourcing for samples and production.

Participating in fittings and garment construction, providing valuable input on fit, fabric, and construction, will be crucial. You will also help prepare design presentations and reports using Excel. Supporting the creation of tech packs for production and assisting in photo shoot coordination, styling, and preparation are essential tasks.

Conducting quality checks on samples and final garments, staying updated on industry trends through fashion shows, trade fairs, and workshops, and maintaining organized records of designs, sketches, and materials are all part of your responsibilities as an intern at LetsDressUp.
