Print Designer For Fashion brand

As a Textile Print Designer, you will be responsible for developing original textile prints, patterns, and surface designs for clothing. Your role will involve creating digital prints and textile layouts while collaborating with fashion designers, product developers, and merchandisers to conceptualize and execute seasonal collections. You will need to stay updated on emerging fashion and textile trends, materials, and techniques to ensure fresh and innovative designs.

Your daily tasks will include preparing detailed technical packs for production, working closely with manufacturers and suppliers to oversee the sampling and production process, and ensuring that all designs align with the brand's aesthetic, target audience, and sustainability goals. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop) and other relevant design software is essential for creating textile patterns and digital prints.

As a successful candidate, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, or a related field and have a strong portfolio showcasing your textile and graphic design work. Knowledge of textile production processes, print techniques, and fabric compositions is required, along with an excellent understanding of color theory, composition, and surface design. You should be able to hand-draw and digitally render intricate designs and possess strong research skills to keep abreast of textile and fashion trends.

In this role, you will manage design projects from concept to final execution, ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met. Maintaining an organized library of prints, fabrics, and design resources for future reference is also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, the ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is crucial.

If you have knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly textile practices, it would be considered a plus. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, requiring in-person work at the designated location.
