Assistant Designer

As a Design Assistant, you will collaborate with senior designers to conceptualize and develop creative designs aligned with market trends and brand aesthetics. You will participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas for new product development.

Your role will involve assisting in creating detailed sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings for the development of prototypes. You will work closely with pattern makers and sample development teams to bring design concepts to life.

Collaborating with the sourcing team, you will select appropriate materials, fabrics, and trims for garment development while staying informed about new materials and trends in the textile industry.

Conducting thorough evaluations of prototypes and samples to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards will be a key responsibility. You will provide constructive feedback for revisions and improvements.

You will prepare and maintain detailed technical specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to production requirements. Effective communication of technical details to production and manufacturing teams will be essential.

Liaising with production, sourcing, and quality control teams to facilitate smooth communication and execution of design concepts is crucial. Your participation in regular meetings to discuss project timelines and address any challenges will be expected.

Staying abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products through market research will be necessary. Providing insights and recommendations based on market research findings will also be part of your responsibilities.

Maintaining accurate records of design-related documents, including sketches, specifications, and project timelines, is important for the role. This is a full-time position located in Faridabad, Haryana. Reliability in commuting or willingness to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package is preferred. The work location is in person.
