Job Description
Able to effectively control the Food & Beverage Cost.
Control the Food and Beverage outlets in terms of wastage, pilferage and efficiency.
Prepare variance analysisfor food & beverage and communicating with relevant parties.
Update and maintain receipts into the systems
Control and ensure that not a single item leaves the stores without requisition.
Carry out spot-checks on the hotel stores rotating stock-takes.
Carry out checks on storing operations on the pier.
In conjunction with the Provision Master, provides analysis of F&B stores consumption to handle the ordering of Food and Beverage as exact as possible.
Input in the computer all bar stock received.
Prepares a voyage report in the end of each cruise to be signed by the F&B Manager and send to the shore side office.
Day to day supervision and management of the responsibilities detailed above.
Should be well versed with Excel and Excel advanceCollect cost information and maintain an expenses database
Construct data accumulation systems
Determine fixed costs (e.g. F&b Cost )
Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of food & beverage and operations costs)
Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
Prepare budgeting reports (for food & beverage)
Analyze and report profit margins
Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts
Assisting in month-end and year-end closing
Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions
Requirements and skills
Proven work experienceas a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role
Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience with accounting software, like FreshBooks and Zoho
Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
Strong time management skills
Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant study (ICWA)

Salary: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
