Job Title: Assistant Manager – Finance and Accounts

The Assistant Manager – Finance and Accounts is a professional-level managerial position that works closely with the IT department, Senior Management, and staff to support designated geographic regions within House of Global Foods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enter account data and assist the finance department in their tasks.
• Carry out responsibilities in various functional areas of House of Global Foods, India, including TDS, GST, AR, AP, GL accounting, and inventory management.
Essential Functions:
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of TDS, GST, AR, AP, GL accounting, and inventory management.
• Understand month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Familiarize yourself with ROC-related compliances.
• Develop advanced knowledge of Excel functions and formulas.
• Create complex spreadsheets for financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience handling statutory audit is required.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet, income statement, and perform variance analyses.
• Maintain balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Financial, and Management Accounting functions to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare financial reporting, including monthly financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting, and all statutory financial reporting.
• Prepare the company's cash flow and ensure it has appropriate treasury controls.
• Assist outside auditors by gathering necessary account information and documents for annual audits.
• Analyze product costs, inventories, cost reduction opportunities, and manufacturing variance.
• Assist in designing and preparing budgets for review by management.
• E nsure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Process employee payroll ensuring compliance with statutory deductions and returns.
• Collaborate with upper management to organize, plan, and achieve company financial goals.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 10.00 am to 6.30 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience:
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance and an MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification with at least Ten years of related experience.
