Job Description
A Finance and Accounts Head oversees all financial and accounting operations within an organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial health. They manage the financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis processes, while also leading and developing their team. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develops and implements financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepares and analyzes financial statements, reports, and other financial data. Accounting Operations: Oversees day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Compliance: Ensures adherence to financial regulations and accounting standards. Internal Controls: Implements and maintains internal financial controls to protect assets and prevent fraud. Team Management: Leads, mentors, and develops a team of finance and accounting professionals. Cost Control: Identifies and implements cost-saving measures. Investment Decisions: Provides financial analysis and advice on investment decisions. Tax Planning and Compliance: Manages tax planning and compliance activities. Risk Management: Identifies and mitigates financial risks. Communication: Communicates financial information to management and other stakeholders.
