FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS HEAD:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and Accounts Head to join our team at Mama Mia! Gelato & Patisserie. The ideal candidate will have exposure to accounts finalization, liaising with auditors, management MIS reporting, and handling the complete finance function of the company. This role requires the ability to lead a team of 5-7 members, solve financial queries, and provide strategic guidance to the top-level management. The Finance and Accounts Head will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health and success of our organization.
Salary Bracket: 10-15 Lakhs
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Ensure timely closure of annual accounts.
• Resolve auditor queries and ensure the audit process is completed within the prescribed timeline.
• Approve, guide, and solve queries of subordinates regarding TDS and GST return filing.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports in a predefined format for management information and swift decision making.
• Train and guide the accounting team regarding bookkeeping work and ensure timely updating of books.
• Monitor the working of several departmental heads (Purchase Manager, Production Manager & Operation Manager) and provide assistance and guidance whenever required.
• Collaborate with management to assist in strategic financial decision making.
• Monitor cash flow and secure a healthy financial position for the company in the long and short term.
• Ensure proper workings are done by subordinates for correct product costing.
• Assist in various financial decision making related to pricing, discounting strategy, etc.
• Develop budgets and forecasts and track variances.
• Possess a good level of knowledge of Excel and business acumen for the preparation of MIS reports.
• Address all management queries from a financial perspective and ensure the correct decisions are made.
• Handle tax department cases as and when required.
• Conduct monthly stock audits at the production facility to establish efficiency and standardization.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Graduation in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounts.
• Prior background in the food and beverage industry is an added advantage.
• Chartered Accountant qualification is essential. Non-qualified candidates with a proven ability, good track record, and relevant experience may also apply.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables.
• Experience with general ledger functions.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Ind-AS, and IGAAP standards.
