Main Purpose
The primary purpose of the Senior Accountant is to support the financial operations of the organization through comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This role involves ensuring compliance with tax and audit requirements, managing GST returns and reconciliations, and providing accurate financial statements and reports.
Responsibilities
MIS Reporting: Develop and maintain management information systems (MIS) reports to support decision-making processes.
Tax Audit Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax regulations and facilitate tax audits.
GST Knowledge and Compliance: Handle GST returns (GSTR1, GSTR3B), perform GST reconciliations, and manage GST audit requirements.
MSME Vendor Management: Understand the implications of MSME registered vendors and ensure compliance with related regulations.
Bank Loan Documentation: Prepare and submit necessary documents for bank loan applications.
Accounting and Reconciliation: Manage bills accounting, perform bank reconciliations, and reconcile vendor ledgers. Prepare statements for outstanding payments and receivables.
· Revenue Strategy Development: Design and implement effective revenue management strategies to optimize pricing, inventory, and distribution channels. Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align revenue strategies with business objectives.
· Pricing and Yield Management: Develop and maintain dynamic pricing models based on market demand, seasonality, and competitor analysis. Monitor and adjust pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability across all products/services. Conduct regular analysis of pricing performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
· Forecasting and Reporting: Create accurate demand forecasts and revenue projections to guide decision-making. Prepare regular reports on revenue performance, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and risks. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
· Performance Analysis: Analyze revenue data to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue generation and ensure targets are met or exceeded. Conduct post-implementation analysis of revenue strategies to assess effectiveness.
· Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to drive revenue initiatives. Communicate revenue strategies and performance results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Provide training and guidance to team members on revenue management principles and best practices.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks to revenue and develop mitigation strategies. Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements that may impact revenue management
Qualification
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in revenue management software, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with data analytics tools.
· Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
· Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive revenue initiatives.
