Our technologies enable millions of farmers around the world to make better use of limited agricultural resources.As Finance (Accounts Payable) and Procurement Solution Consultant you will identify innovative opportunities, design, and implement digital solutions improving accounts payable and procurement processes and related services.Job DescriptionAccountabilitiesAct as a functional subject matter expert for account payable (vendor master, invoice processing, payments), procurement processes and related digital technology, provides consulting to various functions and units within Syngenta on procurement, invoice processing and accounts payable needs and challenges.Lead all techno-functional aspects in visioning, architecture, design, implementation and sustaining of state-of-the-art solutions in close collaboration internal and external suppliersCo-create target architecture and roadmap in collaboration with functions and IT teamsSolution configuration in the system, testing, and co-define custom development design.Authoring and / or reviewing solution design document, functional specification, and test specifications.Execution of proof of concept / prototype in system to evaluate the feasibility of the generated idea / solution design.Ensure design decisions meet immediate requirements and are aligned with long-term strategic needsWork with implementation partner, consultants, and internal IT team for successful delivery of projectCollaborate closely with relevant Business & Functions stakeholders for the assessment of current application supported process and find opportunities for continuous improvement and automation in the procurement, invoice processing and accounts payable processes and help develop long term technology roadmap wherever applicableNetwork with peers and vendors to stay on top of technology innovation, benchmark Syngenta against leading practicesEvaluate and propose new solutions, tools, technology, improvement in existing solution and processes.Develop business cases for new projects or enhancements and ensure successful project initiation and execution.Drive a holistic global approach along the end-to-end process, and partner with business unit and market organizations to ensure solutions meet local customer needs.Apply agile methodology and maximize speed-to-valueOpportunity to work on new age technology like process mining, robotic process automation
