About the Role
This is a high-impact business partnering role, supporting decision-making across our national broking operations. The Finance Business Partner plays a critical role in delivering commercial insight, driving operational performance, and enabling smarter financial decisions at all levels of the business.
With plenty of variety and challenge, this role includes:
Working closely with operational leaders to deliver accurate financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting
Translating data into actionable insights that help drive revenue growth and cost efficiencies
Leading the budgeting process and tracking performance against targets
Supporting business cases, new initiatives, and ad hoc commercial modelling
Collaborating with teams across Australia to improve financial visibility and understanding
Driving continuous improvement in financial processes, tools, and reporting
This is a people-facing role where you’ll make a tangible impact by turning financial insight into real business outcomes.
About You
You're commercially minded, curious, and confident partnering with leaders across an operational business. You bring a strong foundation in finance, matched with excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to add value.
Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner role
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
A proactive, analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
CPA or CA qualification (or working towards completion)
Bonus points if you have experience in insurance, financial services, or other professional services environments.
