Job Description

Here are the key responsibilities of the Finance Controller role in Kolkata:
• Manage the organization's financial reporting, including monthly financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the leadership team on business strategy, investment decisions, and market opportunities.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions is desirable.
• Effectively manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
• Comprehensive understanding and Implementation of industry-specific key financial controls
• Oversee Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable processes across the organization.
• Develop actionable reports and dashboards for wider distribution, aiding in decision-making.
• Collaborate with business teams to establish project budgets and forecasts for short- and long-term periods.
• Stay updated on current accounting and tax laws to ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular in-depth analyses of financials to identify critical insights and ensure accuracy.
• Support investor relations team with financial deliverables and ad-hoc requests.
• Define and track critical success metrics and KPIs, collaborating with other divisions to address them.
• Conduct risk analysis and management to mitigate financial risks.
• Generate cost and profit analysis, reviewing each component of the profit and loss statement (P&L).

Job Requirements
