Eaton’s ES AMER Sector Integration division is currently seeking a Finance Director, Digital Offer Management. Relocation is offered.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $141000.03 - $206800.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
This role will be responsible for leading all aspects of the Finance function for Eaton Digital Offer Management. The position will report directly to Vice President, digital with a functional reporting line to the SVP, Finance – Electrical Sector. Their main responsibilities will be to provide strong financial support and business partnership regarding opportunities for market growth, required investments and financial justification for them, overall financial reporting, forecasting, and planning, and providing timely and insightful information and analysis to management, support decision making and continuously working to improve organizational performance (FP&A activities).


Near-term priorities include simplifying the revenue structure of the digital organization and automating the financial reporting structure for the Digital products. This will require them to work collaboratively with senior operational leaders, functional leaders and finance / accounting leaders across both Electrical Sector, Industrial Sector, and Corporate. The candidate has a passion for driving positive results in a complex environment. The successful candidate will be operationally and commercially savvy while strategic with strong leadership, digital business acumen and communication skills. The ideal candidate is energetic and a critical thinker skilled in driving pipelines, revenue growth while retaining focus on financial process improvement. Travel up to 25%.

Key Responsibilities:
Supports the Eaton Digital leaders in all financial aspects of the business.
Leads the Financial Planning & Analyses processes for Eaton Digital team including, but not limited to, monthly actuals reporting & analyses, monthly forecasting, annual strategic planning, annual profit planning, and other ad hoc financial analyses.
Partners with the Eaton Finance team to ensure all deliverables are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Organizes and delivers appropriate management reports to regional management.
Prepares meaningful variance analysis commentary for management and publishes accurate and timely financial reporting packages.
Leads the financial justification of investment opportunities - Capital Acquisition Requests (CARs), inorganic & organic growth opportunities, and other commercial opportunities. Acts as a thought partner to Eaton Digital Office leaders.
Establish productivity & cost-out management & measurement relative to growth
Leads the creation of Eaton Digital Office financial reporting processes for digital transformation initiatives across all pillars (new business models, productivity, factory digitalization, customer experience) including determining the right financial KPIs for digital orders, revenue, profitability, return on investments as it relates to digital solutions across Eaton
Leads the creation of an internal controls framework within offer management ensuring compliance to Eaton financial policies
Initiate and oversee profitability management projects, analyzing various revenue streams to identify optimization opportunities.
Utilize data to influence cross-functional teams and build consensus.
Supervise the contract structuring process, ensuring terms are financially beneficial and align with company objectives.
Lead product optimization initiatives through rigorous financial analysis and market research to identify growth and improvement areas.
Perform comprehensive sales and incentives analysis to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of incentive programs.
Address barriers to solution selling and go to market success by managing revenue flow and internal margins across Eaton divisions
Provide strategic advice on pricing strategies based on market trends, cost structures, and the competitive landscape.
Direct data review and analysis activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
Examine deals and contracts to assess their financial implications and offer recommendations for optimal outcomes.
Promotes good financial stewardship by helping control costs & driving forecast accuracy.
Maintains ethical business conduct and compliance are understood and supported throughout the region.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
BA/BS in Accounting/Finance from an accredited institution
Minimum 8 years in finance leadership roles with multinational companies
Minimum 3 years in commercial finance, partnering with senior leaders

Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years in finance leadership roles with multinational companies
Master's Degree or CPA/MBA preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
-Worked in a Digital / Software / Start-up environment - understands business modeling and data monetization, lifecycle value of contracts, financial & operational KPIs for digital/software companies
Experience in Software/Digital accounting preferred
Skills:

Skilled in contract structuring, pricing strategies, and financial modeling
Experienced in interpreting and presenting complex data for actionable insights
Ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial reporting and analysis
Experience leading and developing global teams in a matrixed organization
Strong knowledge and expertise as a finance partner for an industrial software business
Strong knowledge and understanding of digital business models and financial KPIs associated with delivery of cloud based digital solutions strongly preferred
Ability to proactively diagnose problems and develop solutions.
Able to reengineer financial processes to cater to a digital/software business
Strong US GAAP knowledge required.
Proficient with financial analysis tools and systems, knowledge of Eaton financial systems a plus
