Key Responsibilities:
• Provide financial reporting and analysis to various stakeholders, supporting decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore finance teams within the Biocon Biologics group to ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations.
• Establish processes for fixed asset tracking and tagging, including depreciation and write-offs.
• Ensure accurate and timely closure of activities related to revenue recognition.
• Handle monthly book closure activities, reporting revenue, receivables, capex, and other MIS.
• Review and manage receivables, ensuring timely collection and resolving disputes.
• Develop relationships with banks and payment gateways to explore cost-effective functionalities.
• Provide support and input to reporting teams for monthly/quarterly/yearly MIS reporting.
• Coordinate with statutory and tax auditors as needed.
• Monitor actual costs versus budget for support functions.
• Liaise with third-party accounting, tax service providers, and consultants for compliance.
• Consolidate Support function budget and track against actuals.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
• Experience: Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Hands-on experience with SAP is preferred.
• Ability to apply technical accounting guidance for Revenue and Capex accounting.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
