Finance Manager

Job Title: Team Manager/ Manager Department Finance, Group Reporting Reporting to: Senior Manager Position Summary: The Finance team consist of 17 employees, based in London responsible for the production, preparation and review of all financial data, internal and external, as well as financial planning and analysis, tax and investor relations. The department goal is to be a best in class, collaborative finance function that provides strategic partnership, insights and independent challenge along with the delivery of high-quality financial reporting, and analysis while maintaining effective and efficient operational control. The Senior Group Accountant is a member of the Group reporting team who will support the team in achieving the above goal and also take on complex projects ranging from balance sheet substantiation, revenue analytics and expense management. Primary Responsibilities: This position is responsible for several critical functions, in additional to supporting the Financial Reporting team with ad hoc tasks: Balance sheet substantiation  Review and develop efficiencies in close processes  Develop and improve controls throughout the reconciliation process to reduce risk of error by highlighting data that has failed to reconcile and develop a resolution path  Management of reconciliation process of all significant balance sheet items  Implement enhanced high-level views of the close process, through auditable workflows from accounting system to spreadsheet management Financial accounting & reporting  Assist with the Group consolidation, including cash flow statement, IFRS 16 and Share Based payments  Management of outsourced providers of financial information for inclusion into the consolidated financial statements  Preparation and assistance with the audit of the year end and interim Group financial statements and related shareholder materials  Preparation UK and overseas subsidiary financial statements  Preparation of finance regulatory ret
