Organization: Kare Enterprise (Ampersand Group)
Function: Finance and Accounts
Location: Mumbai
Reporting Manager: Group President & CFO
Primary Purpose: Drive vertical Performance, Deliver Strategic Plans, Provide real time strategic and decision support through thought leadership and insightful analytics for sustainable & profitable growth.
Key Accountabilities/Activities:
Financial & Business Planning
•Formulate Drive Business Plans / Strategies for the Market for specific verticals and Division to operationalize the 3 Yr & 10 Yr Plan
•Analyse and develop Industry landscape to recommend Vertical / Product Play
•Benchmarking vis a vis Market – Channels and Segments, Competitive Actions and Combative Counter Plans
•Lead Annual Operating Plan and Forecasting ( Monthly / Quarterly) and reframing Year to Go to deliver goals for the year
Strategic
•Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and company’s long-term strategy
•Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the Group CFO and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations
•Engage the board finance, audit, and investment committees around issues, trends, and changes in the operating model(s) and operational delivery
•Assist in establishing yearly objectives and meeting agendas, and selecting and engaging outside consultants (auditors, investment advisors)
Processes / Automation
•Develop and implement processes commensurate with size, scale, complexity and business needs
•Champion simplification, standardization and automation opportunities and lead these projects
Executive Management
•Serve as a member of executive leadership team. Participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution
Accounting Activities
•Oversee preparation of month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial statements
•Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and corporate/overhead cost allocation
•Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems
•Serve as final point of escalation for Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable issues
•Develop and manage accounting staff
Finance
•Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed
•Oversee cash, investment, and asset management
•Oversee financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships
•Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organization’s operations and business plans
•Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions
Work Relations:
Internal:
•Reporting to Group CFO and CEO for all functional as well as admin issues
•Interfacing with all service level heads and managers based out of PAN India offices
•Interfacing with all SBU Heads and Department Head for all for all financial issues
External:
•Interface with potential and existing clients.

Qualification:
•University degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Management/Administration
Experience:
•Minimum 10-12 Yrs, of relevant experience in handling financial responsibility
